Echinacea is a flowering plant from the daisy family (Asteraceae) native to North America. Here’s a breakdown of its potential benefits:

• Supports respiratory health
• Wound healing

How does echinacea work?

Echinacea contains active compounds, such as polysaccharides, alkamides, and glycoproteins, which are believed to interact with the immune system by:

• Increasing the production of cytokines (cell-signalling proteins) that help regulate immune responses.
• Enhancing the activity of macrophages and natural killer (NK) cells, which are responsible for attacking harmful pathogens.
• Reducing inflammation by inhibiting certain enzymes that promote inflammatory processes.
  

• Small dogs and cats: 5ml (1tsp)
• Medium dogs: 10ml (2tsp)
• Large dogs: 15ml (3tsp)
• Working and sporting dogs, use 1ml/kg body weight (up to a max of 20ml per day.)
• Repeat as necessary.
• Use over feed.
