Our delivery calculator works out your specific delivery charge based on -

a) Service Type

b) Consignment Weight

The 2 service types we offer are designed to give you the speed of delivery that suits your requirements or the price of delivery that suits your pocket. These are our Standard Service and our Express Service and in all cases customers ordering for delivery to a UK Mainland address will be presented with both of these delivery options during the checkout process. (Excludes Heavy Duty)

Standard UK Mainland Delivery - 3 to 5 Working Days

Orders up to 500g

These orders are sent 2nd Class with Royal Mail. These orders don’t require a signature but they do require the recipient to be at home at the point the delivery attempt is made. The Royal Mail delivery person will not leave your order and would usually post you a card informing you that you may be required to collect the parcel from a local Royal Mail depot or sorting office.

Orders 500g-1KG

These orders are sent 2nd Class with Royal Mail. These orders don’t require a signature but they do require the recipient to be at home at the point the delivery attempt is made. The Royal Mail delivery person will not leave your order and would usually post you a card informing you that you may be required to collect the parcel from a local Royal Mail depot or sorting office.

Orders 1KG +

These orders are sent on a 3 day delivery service with UK Mail. These orders don’t require a signature, so if you aren’t at home during the delivery attempt the delivery driver will either leave your order with a neighbour or within a safe place at your address. The delivery driver will post a card through your door informing you of where the item has been left. If neither option is available to the driver they will take the parcel away with them and attempt to re-deliver at another time.

 Express UK Mainland Delivery (Next Working Day)

 *Orders received before 2:00PM, Monday to Thursday, will be delivered the following day. Unfortunately we do not deliver on a Saturday/Sunday and any Express orders received before 2:00PM on a Friday will only be delivered on the Monday of the following week and orders received after 2:00PM on Friday will only be delivered on the Tuesday of the following week.

These orders are sent on a next-day delivery service* with UK Mail. A signature is always required for an express delivery, so if you aren’t at home during the delivery attempt, the delivery driver will post a card through your door informing you that a delivery attempt had been made. The parcel will not be left without a signature and the driver will take the parcel away with them and attempt to re-deliver at another time. These orders can be fully tracked throughout their journey. The office is closed over any bank holiday so any order placed over the bank holiday period will not be shipped until we have returned back into the office on the usual working day.

*Please note Next Day Deliveries can not be 100% guaranteed!

Bank Holiday Delivery's

The office is closed over any bank holiday so any order placed over the bank holiday period will not be shipped until we have returned back into the office on the usual working day. Any order placed as a Next Day Delivery will only be shipped once we have returned from the Bank Holiday.

International Delivery's

Our international shipping rates are dependent upon the weight of your order and the destination of your delivery

To recieve a postal quote prior to ordering, please send us an email with the items you require to sales@animal-health.co.uk and one of our sales operators will reply with a postal charge.

 You will be liable for payment of all import duties; therefore we suggest you contact your local customs office if you have a query regarding this.

 We regret that due to flying restrictions, liquids, aerosols and gels can no longer be delivered outside the UK and Ireland. We can only deliver them by road.

 Please Note: There may be small variations between the value of your confirmed foreign currency order and the amount you are finally charged by your card provider. This is due to possible exchange rate fluctuations between two separate service providers.

 VAT (Value Added Tax):

If you are able to demonstrate VAT exemption, you will be able to claim back British Value Added Tax (VAT) for many items featured in this catalogue. Please consult the criteria for VAT exemption (below) to check whether this applies to your order:- Companies registered for VAT (or its equivalent tax) in the European Union.

 Individuals who are resident outside the European Community (including BFPO addresses and the Channel Islands) are VAT exempt. Private individuals residing anywhere within the European Union will be unable to reclaim the current UK VAT rate from their purchases

BFPO orders are only eligible for VAT exemption when placed by post, accompanied by written authorization from the Commanding Officer. Please note, Postage & Packaging is subject to quotation for BFPO orders. All BFPO orders must be within the size and weight limits of BFPO traffic for BFPO postage to apply. Orders which exceed these limits must be quoted for in the same way as a standard export order.

Please ensure that you contact your local customs office in the country of your delivery to confirm whether or not you may be liable to local import taxes, duty and VAT (or equivalent) upon arrival of any products supplied by The Animal Health Company Ltd. from the United Kingdom to you or your freight agent. The customer is liable for payment of all import duties.

 

ANY DAMAGED OR SHORT DELIVERED GOODS MUST BE REPORTED WITHIN 3 WORKING DAYS OF RECEIPT OF GOODS.

We reserve the right to alter the price list for delivery without prior notice.

Returns & Replacements 

The policy set out below relates specifically to the return of goods purchased through our web store or via telephone. All items can be returned to us as long as the delivery note is provided by the customer as proof of original purchase.We hope every time you shop with us, that you and your animals are truly happy and that you have received your items in tip top condition, but if you haven't please inform us within 3 working days of delivery. Unwanted item?If you no longer want your purchase and it remains unopened and unused, you can arrange to return it to us within seven days of receipt for a refund. Please be aware that we may not refund your postage costs, as there is no error on our part. Returning a larger and/or expensive item?For large and/or expensive items, we may arrange for a courier to collect your purchase. In this event, we will contact you to arrange a suitable collection time that is convenient to you. If there is no error on our part and you require this service, we will quote the cost for this service at the time of your call. Distance Selling Regulations. If your order has been placed via the telephone or internet, under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have a statutory right to cancel your order and receive a full refund for any home delivery item. This does not include food products that have been opened/unsealed. If the order has already been dispatched then we can not provide this service and you will need to view the Unwanted Item? section. Any open and/or used products are excluded from the right to cancel

Refunds Policy

When you send your item back to us, within 3-5 days of receipt we will process the returned item and make a payment back to the credit card or debit card you originally paid with.

Exchanges Policy

We are unable to exchange goods from one order to another. In all cases we would handle your returned item as a straight forward return and refund the payment back on the credit or debit card you originally paid with as per the refunds policy (above).If you do require another intem, a new order would need to be raised and charged separately and the funds will be taken for the new order before you will have received a refund for the returned item(s).

Information which is obtained about you is used purely for order processing in accordance with the Data Protection Act Information 1998. We do not sell your personal information to any third parties. Information, personal to our customers is used in the following ways:-

1. To efficiently process orders.

2. To efficiently deliver orders. Our carefully selected third party couriers (Royal Mail and UK Mail) are provided with your name, address and contact numbers to allow them to efficiently and promptly deliver your goods. When we are provided with an email address and a mobile number, we also pass this information on so you receive updates via email and text, notifying you of the status of your delivery.

3. Internal marketing by The Animal Health Company Ltd: we will contact you monthly with offers via email only if you chose to opt into our newsletter. We will only contact you by telephone if we experience issues related to order processing or if we suspect that fraudulent activity has taken place. If we suspect fraudulent activity has taken place, we may disclose personal information, if so require, to the police.

Ordering
There are several ways for you to find the product you are looking for. You can either browse by animals, brands or use the search tab on the top right hand corner of the page.

To use the search engine, use the search tab on the top right hand corner of the page. You can search by brand name (e.g. Animal Health, No Bute), by product name (HyperCoat Prime, Tranquil), a part of the name (HyperCoat, Navilam) or by product type (shampoo, calmer).

Selecting your products, simply search your product and select the size and quantity you are wishing to purchase and add to basket. This will then be put into your shopping basket and you will be directly taken to your basket. You can choose to edit your basket, continue shopping or proceed to checkout.

If you have a discount code please apply coupon in box provided.

Once your order is complete proceed to checkout. You will be taken to choose your delivery address or input a new address.

From here you will then need to choose a delivery method, please select an option given. You will then be given the chance to review your order, once you have ensured your order is correct then click to place order where you will be taken to the secure payment page.

Once your order is confirmed, you will be given an order number. This order number will also appear on the confirmation email you recieve moments after you have confirmed the order. You can check your order at any time, by accessing your account and clicking the ''my orders'' tab.

When we have received your order and have begun processing, your order will be put 'on hold' whilst we pick and pack your order, once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email stating your order status is 'Complete', in this email, you may receive a tracking number if your order has gone out with a courier.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions

Online Promotions and Offers

We often issue promotions in the form of either 'buy two for three', 'a percentage off'' or 'savings' and these are offered to customers via emails, advertisements or on-site banners. They can be redeemed online only by the promotional code or in offer season. Free Delivery orders will only be subject on any delivery in UK Mainlands only.

Expiry Dates and Exclusions

All promotions will have a 'valid until' or 'expiry' date. Please refer to the original promotion source for this information.

Promotional codes can not be used in conjunction with any other offer.

Promotional codes can not be applied retrospectively to previous orders.

We have the right to end any promotional offers with no prior notice and also can limit such offers as a maximum amount per customer.

To view past orders, simply sign in with your login details and by clicking on the ''my orders'' tab, you can access any information regarding your current or existing orders and then recreate those orders quickly and easily when you require.
