DEFRA Approved Dilution Rates

Defence 7 is highly concentrated. For confirmed efficacy under DEFRA General Orders, please use the following dilution rates:

• Poultry Diseases (Avian Influenza, Newcastle Disease): Dilute 1 part Defence 7 to 100 parts water (1:100).
• Swine Vesicular Disease: Dilute 1 part Defence 7 to 100 parts water (1:100).  

General Usage Guidelines

Routine Stable Hygiene (1:100): For general disinfection of floors, walls, and equipment.

Mix: 10ml of Defence 7 per 1 Litre of water.

High-Level Disinfection/Ringworm (1:50): For areas where fungal contamination is suspected or for a deep "spring clean."

Mix: 20ml of Defence 7 per 1 Litre of water.

Application Rates:

• Non-porous surfaces (metal, plastic): Apply 100ml of diluted solution per square metre.
• Porous surfaces (wood, concrete): Apply 300ml of diluted solution per square metre to ensure deep penetration.
